How much does it cost to file bankruptcy?
No one facing bankruptcy wants to pay more than necessary for attorney’s fees to file bankruptcy. But attorney’s fees vary by city and state, and from attorney to attorney. And the least expensive may not be the best choice. We’ve been representing parties in bankruptcy since the enactment of the Bankruptcy Code, and we provide bankruptcy representation as a service.
We’ll give you back your time.
First, there is your time, which is valuable, and can be used for other things. Then there is the time of your bankruptcy attorney, which is expensive, and needs to be limited. In a conventional bankruptcy interview, you’ll sit across the table from your attorney, answering questions about what you own, what you owe and what you earn. You’ll lose your time while the attorney charges his time. Lose-lose situation.
Bankruptcy relief is based on what you own, what you owe, and what you earn. If you can use a computer, or file your taxes electronically, you can provide this information to us online. Plus, we save you time by completing the first draft of the bankruptcy schedules from readily available information. While we’re available to you anytime, you can provide your information at your convenience, in your own time.
We’ll give you back your money.
The money follows the time, which is irreplaceable. You pay for your time, in inconvenience, embarrassment, inefficiency, and through the money that you pay your attorney. It’s no secret that time is money where lawyers are concerned. The more time you spend with your attorney, answering questions about what you own, what you owe and what you earn, the more it costs.
If you provide your information to us online, we’ll pass the savings back to you. Also, although we’ve practiced in Seattle for many years, we’re primarily based in Spokane, where attorney’s fees and the cost of doing business is much less. It works for us and for our clients, and we pass the savings to you. We don’t think you’ll find a less expensive alternative with our depth, our experience, our peer ratings, or our client reviews. And we know you won’t find any lawyers that care more about their clients.
We’ll give you a bottom line.
We will represent you in an uncontested Chapter 7 bankruptcy case, fully and zealously, for a fee of $1,000, not including the filing fee or fees for credit reports and credit counseling. Most Chapter 7 cases are completed without contested matters or adversary proceedings. If there are such matters, we will represent you in those actions for a reduced fee of $300.00 per hour.
We will represent you in an uncontested Chapter 13 bankruptcy case, fully and zealously, for $1,000.00 to be paid before the filing of the case, and a total fee of $3,500, not including the filing fee of $335.00 that is paid to the clerk of the court. Most Chapter 13 cases are completed without contested matters or adversary proceedings. If there are such matters, we will represent you in those actions for a reduced fee of $300.00 per hour.
